Opposite the Artemision, the first temple from the south, which is the largest, is the  Delian Temple construction began in 476 BC and was completed in 314 BC. The columns of white marble were unbarred and plates crepidoma without the final carving. It is the only temple pavilion –  i.e. temple colonnades on all four sides – in Delos..
